The name itself stems from the home where I raised my children, 280 Franklin Street in NY. From a very young age I was taught how to make holiday cookies by my grandma. That simple act grew into a love of baking Italian holiday traditions with my children. In the 90's, when I was not working, I was making cookies, cakes, and chocolate covered everything! It became my dream to one day have my own shop where I could share my grandmother's cookie recipes and make my delicious chocolate creations available to everyone. That dream took a back seat for 25+ years, but my love for chocolate and Italian style cookies only grew. In 2021, I left the corporate world of NY law firms behind and relocated to Florida. It was at that moment I found myself at the perfect crossroad in my life to recharge and go for the dream!

I am very excited about the future of 280 Franklin Sweets. I will be rolling out new cookies, sugar-free chocolate, and a full line of filled chocolates.
And, for you locals, I will be introducing an in-home Chocolate Party plan.
